This weekend sees the F1 circus roll into the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, for an anti-Monaco weekend. But what it lacks in glamour and glitz, it more than makes up for with pure, flat-out racing.
I reckon there’s no better place to watch an F1 car than when its hammering up through Eau Rouge – where the drivers need big balls of steel!
So we come at it straight off the back of last weekend’s Euro GP in Valencia, where the temperatures soared on and off the track to Spa where the forecasts are for it to be wet and windy could make for an entertaining weekend.

Speed is, for so many of us, more than an obsession, even more than an addiction, and for a select few, like the tuners at 9ff, it’s a way of life. That’s what led them to build the Porsche 911 Turbo-based GT9R in the first place, topping 250 mph top speed. But now they’re working on a convertible version.
When I read this I thought to myself what was the need in this!! Like there are not cars on the road already fast enough but apparently the roots for this project come from the United Arab Emirates, a conglomerate of countries whose car enthusiasts are known for doing things simply because they can.
Power will come from the same 1,120-horsepower stroked 4.0-liter flat six as the GT9R, capable of rocketing the car to 60 mph in under 2.8 seconds and onward to its 257 mph top speed.
Every ones talking about it so thought id jump on the same band wagon when it comes to the new mini coupe concept, i remember seeing this a while ago when it was just a concept car and people where how good it would be if it actually got put into production well i guess they got their wish.
Underneath, the Concept is a Mini Cooper JCW, meaning a power output of 208bhp and 192lb ft of torque, with 206lb ft available on over boost. A production version could run even more performance-focused mechanicals, but the lightweight roof and much lower centre of gravity mean that the Mini Coupe would be a pretty agile machine even with running gear and suspension identical to the JCW.
Many have quoted in the past “For us a Maserati is not a car, it’s art.” In other words it doesn’t really matter if the car is any good or not it just has to look the part.
The Maserati GranCabrio is the company’s first four-seat convertible, and completes the three-model Maserati line-up. Maserati is also keen to emphasize the fact the GranCabrio is more than just a 2+2.
Maserati says it will start to market the car this winter but, and aims to get the first cars to customers in time for spring 2010.
There are no details on price as yet, but expect a fair hike over the £78,215 that a base coupe will set you back.
Who says this car is not the best looking car ever produced by Porsche because for me this is the best looking one produced by far.
To top it off Gemballa have restyled the body kit to give it that little extra wow factor. While others have criticised the Panamera for aping Porsche’s classic rear-engined sports model, Gemballa pushes the connection further with extended front and rear wings that it says are a ‘visual allusion to the classic 911-design’. Other visual differences to the standard car include a sportier front spoiler with larger air intakes and a carbon lip, as well as a new bonnet with slotted ventilation ducts that Gemballa says should reduce lift.
It was a brilliant day for Euro GP winner Rubens Barrichello, recording his first win in five years but it was an awful afternoon for his teammate Jenson Button.
Luckily for Button though, Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel blew his second engine of the weekend, which let the Brit off a bit lighter than he might otherwise have been.
So Button remains top of the championship race on 72 points, but thanks to today’s win, Rubens is hard on his heels with 54.
We have feel sorry for Hamilton who lead the way for so long but McLaren threw the race away when they fumbled Lewis Hamilton’s pitstop with a delay bringing out the tyres.
I love cars and to be honest the faster the better there are so many super cars at the moment that i could not honestly choose my favourite as the list could on and on… So i brought the topic up with my work colleges which led to a big discussion with everyone pulling out all these names of cars so i thought i’d list the top 10 super cars out their and try get some peoples opinions on my choices my 1 to 10 are as followed:

Some of you may of heard about the new bugatti 4 door you may not have seen the pictures however as these where only little teaser shots not giving us a clear view on how this will look.
But now some new slick renderings have emerged that give a much fuller look at the new Molsheim heavyweight. Before you say it yes it is pink but this car in Black with black alloys and this could well be a fastback super-saloon with four proper doors.
Being a Bugatti you can expect the price to be as unsubtle as that pink paint (current estimates are around 1.3 million Euros [£1.1m]), and it is expected to go on sale around 2013. Place your orders guys!
